I have recently procured an iBook G4 in a laptop Joblot, initially when plugged in it displayed no signs of life other than a green light which turns off if the DCIN is disconnected from the logic board.

On opening the machine I've found corrosion in the pictured areas.

On cleaning this corrosion the behaviour does not change and I would like to see if any schematics are available for this particular unit.

I have a multimeter but it's on the fritz, it doesn't measure voltage and a direct short displays as 1650 on the screen....it's basically useless.

Is there any specific areas I should look at power Wize and any areas to note where I should measure voltage?
