My iMac has a strange issue where the image will randomly shift its horizontal position. Google AI has suggested this problem is likely due to capacitors on the analog board and/or the downconverter board. Unfortunately, I've been unable to find a definitive list of caps I'd need, and I'd rather avoid opening the case until I'm ready to recap the boards. This is not just because of the brittle plastics, but also because I don't have room to leave it disassembled while I wait for parts. If anyone has a know compatible list of caps (or has another theory about the shifting video), please let me know.
On a related note, could capacitors also be the reason for the weird geometry on my eMac? The bottom-left corner of the picture is raised up about a centimeter compared to the bottom-right.
