I have a Black 30GB iPod Classic 5.5 Generation (Enhanced). It works fine for most things, I installed a new battery last year, it's still got the original hard drive and it's in good health with no bad sectors. It syncs, charges, and plays music just fine. However, when I go to play back a video on it, it just locks up and I will have to reset it to get it unfrozen. These same video files have synced and played back just fine on my 5th gen nano, as well as several early iPhones and iPod Touches, this iPod just won't play them back. This happens with any video I try to sync, and these are all downloaded YouTube videos that I've imported in for on-the-go viewing.
Any ideas?
