A couple of months ago, I managed to score a really nice 20" iMac G4. This completes my iMac G4 trifecta. I have two 17-inchers, and I really don't need two of them, so one will have to find a new home. I plan on opening up the 20" to swap out the hard drive for an SSD.
I don't really have the room to display them all, so currently I have a dresser next to my basement work desk that contains mostly computer parts 'n' stuff. On it sits my TAM and one of my 17-inch iMac G4s. I really would like to display them all at some point, but that would require a much larger home. Maybe some day. Or I'll exhibit at a VCF event and show them off there. Until then, I have another idea.
I was inspired by another Mac collector to start photographing my collection and putting them into a website, so at some point, I'll grab some photos of these individually and as a trio.
And I also have a PowerBook 180. The hard drive was DOA, so I'm trying to find one. Unforutnately, I don't have a good bridge machine to make floppies for it. Until that comes around, the 180 will just look cool.
