I have an LC 575 that has a dark display and the colours are a bit off (very blue), it’s had the internal connectors, analogue and logic boards, CRT changed and still no difference, also a different hdd to see if it was a settings issue but still no different. Any ideas ? Thanks Charlie

Has the analog board and logic board been recapped?
I had similar with a color classic recently but was alleviated with new caps and adjustment. Outside of that I'd suspect something was off with the actual adjustment for the R G B guns via Analog board

Hi Drake, yes both boards are recapped, perhaps it’s an adjustment issue, are they difficult to do?

Should be potentiometers to adjust the color drive for green, blue, and red (seen as pink sometimes) probably somewhere on the analog board, have some photos you can provide?

I have a 575 that lost red. Adjusting pots didn't do anything. Some days it would start up and all colors would be great, and other times I'd be missing the red again. I poked around all the solder joints connecting the neck board to the analog board (to see if there was an intermittent connection somewhere). I also removed and reseated the neck board and all its connectors to the AB. I haven't recapped the analog board, but my gut tells me it probably wasn't the caps. I ended up just swapping in another analog board and the issue was fixed. One of these days I'll go back to the old analog board and do some more troubleshooting.
