A few months back I purchased what I thought was a 7100 from Ebay. What I got was a performa 600 with a 7100 face. The seller made it right but I do recall he had a performa 600 up for auction at the same time. I suspect someone got a 7100 with a performa 600 face. If you are that someone, and you want to swap faceplates, let me know. My guess is the seller may have taken the covers off to either clean them up or get pictures of the insides at the same time and re assembled them incorrectly. Since the faces on both of these units just screw off the metal frame, it should not be too big of a hassle to swap out. Anyway I realize this is a long shot that the buyer of the other auction might see this post, but you never know.
