Hi everyone,
Excited to be part of this new group - I see quite a few familiar names here, and some new ones too!
My first Mac was a Blueberry iMac G3 350 that my dad gave to me in around 2003. That wasn't really "vintage" yet at the time, so my first vintage Mac was a 512ke I got from a member of the 68kmla in 2004 for the cost of shipping(IIRC it was <$10). I also used to go to the town dump and dig through the electronics pile, back before they cared about data security, and grab whatever interesting computers I could find.
I got out of collecting in like 2010, and sold/gave away a decent chunk of my collection back then, but started slowly getting back into it in around 2015. Collection currently is probably about 50 computers, mainly focused on Macs/Apples, but decent amount of PC stuff too. I started documenting the whole collection last year, moved, it became even more of a disorganized mess than it was before, and haven't started again. Maybe one of these days.
I am also one of the BlueSCSI sellers, have helped write the troubleshooting documentation for the project, and am fairly active in the Open Retro SCSI Discord.
