I haven't had much to post about in here over the last year or so. After a giant find in 2021, I tapered off even searching for older Macs and accessories until I'd moved as much of the haul I found into new homes and found decent space to setup what I was either keeping or hadn't been able to give away yet. Friday night I clicked on FB Marketplace and discovered a 30" Cinema Display being offered for $25, thinking that it was too good to be true, I messaged expecting to find out that the backlight was gone or some other major issue was pricing it at that point. Turns out the owner's connected Mac mini had died and she just wanted to be done with the display rather than trying to move it to a newer machine. Came with the Apple Dual-link DVI to mini-Display port adapter, the power adapter (which had been my reason for not snagging one of these up a while back) and a spare wired aluminum keyboard/Mighty Mouse. Trying to figure out if I want to set it up with my Mac Pro, even though I rarely turn on the display for it as it just sits as a file server most of the time, or get it into use as a second screen for my dj setup, serving as the playlist window. I'm excited to finally have one of these that were so out of my range when they came out.
