Hello,

I found this Apple II card in a box of PC parts I bought from a college auction a few years ago and it's been an enigma to me since. It's missing every single IC on it; and the only identifying markings are Arctec Inc. Apple Interface Card and a sticker with CM8502-010002.

My best guess is this is just some boring parallel printer interface card, but after scouring through what must have been hundreds of images of cards, I can't find any that really match this close enough. If I have the time I might map out the traces and the few passive components that are still on the board in kicad in hopes to help make identification easier.

Front of the card, there is a cluster of 3, 14 pin sockets labeled U1, U2, & U6. U4 is a 16 pin socket, U3 is 24 pins, and U5 is 40 pins.
Back side of the card. There is extra solder flux over the external header pins.

Some Observations:

Judging by the way it's built, it appears to be from the late 70's with its hand drawn layout.

The only configuration options on the card are three solder jumper pads labeled IRQ, ROM, & RAM(which is bridged).

The card has a 26 pin header labeled J1 with the bottom right pin missing for keying.

I'm assuming the 24-pin U3 socket is for an EPROM considering the ROM jumper shorts pin 24 to pin 20.

There is a spot for a C2 capacitor but it looks to have never been populated.

I doubt Arctec Inc. have any relation to Arctec Systems, the creators of the Gemini robot from around the same time.

Thanks,
