Some of my items have the original boxes, in various states, that I'd like to store, but don't want them to be destroyed. I like to use my vintage Macs, so the items are not stored in the boxes, but I also need to make room in my bonus room for actual living, and was going to move the boxes to the attic. I have an attic above my detached garage that doesn't get quite as extreme temps as my main house attic, but it's still pretty hot in summer and cold in winter.
So, does anyone have any ideas on how they store their vintage boxes? I thought about wrapping them in plastic wrap, but I wonder if that may trap in moisture which may cause problems with the temperature changes. Simply wrapping them like a gift in some sort of paper wrapping to keep the dust off and any pests away?
