So I find myself in another one of these rabbit hole situations, trying to determine what exactly shipped with a particular system ... Sometimes this kind of information is really difficult to track down, and it's one of the reasons I document stuff so extensively on my own page.
Anyways, I am trying to figure out what the documentation set that shipped with the original Bondi Blue iMac G3 shipped with.
My best guess is that it's this - orange (vertical) User's Guide, yellow Troubleshooting Guide, and several other supporting docs etc. (Some of the stuff is missing from this listing, obviously). This is also listed as being for OS 8.5, which is denoted on the Troubleshooting Guide and is also listed on EveryMac as what the Bondis shipped with originally.
However, I also see this packet available - which looks very similar, but has an additional (horizontal) orange guide, and the AppleCare doc looks different as well. I thought that these orange guides with the bold "iMac" text at bottom were for the Bondis, but the OS 8.6 on the Troubleshooting Guide suggests to me that this was for a later Rev. C/D model since 8.6 didn't ship until May '99.
If anyone is able to confirm my suspicions, or enlighten me as to what your original Bondi shipped with, it would be much appreciated!
