Sharing a very nice recent find - this Power Mac G4 MDD. It is one of the early 2003 "FireWire 800" models, specifically the dual-processor 1.25 GHz machine. I purchased it from the original owner who had two of them in his design office. He took exceptionally good care of it; basically looks like it just rolled off the production line:

No major damage or wear on the acrylic shell, which shined up very nicely with some of the Novus 3-step polish. I use that stuff on all my acrylic-cased Macs as it's phenomenally good stuff.

This machine replaces my prior MDD, which was the single 1.25 GHz "MDD '03" model. Even though that machine had the advantage of being able to boot OS 9, I personally prefer this one as it's faster, better features (AP Extreme, FW800), and also has the black accessories instead of white.

I performed a Retrobrite on the white kbd/mouse that the MDD '03 had - and while it came out nice, it feels better to not have to worry about the longevity of that and possible future re-treatments moving forward.

Anyways, the page for this machine is now live with more photos and teardown pics for anyone interested. It needed some love at first but cleaned up very nicely and I'm very happy to have it in the collection!
