Just got the PowerBook 165c which works fine. I have checked there are really no caps need to be replaced. Only the LCD have this two boards.

Are these caps necessary to be replaced? Pictures from: https://oldcrap.org/2020/10/31/apple-macintosh-powerbook-165c/

C6 and C3 have been known to leak, but the others are all polymer and should be ok.

Aren't there display caps, like seven of them?

The display caps should be through-holes on this model. They can leak and replacing them is never a bad idea, but it isn’t mission critical like the surface mount ones are.

Techknight did a restoration video on one of these recently, here’s like link:
EDIT: Figured I'd add that his inverter caps were leaking, but the display ones were not on his system. Obviously that does not speak for every 165c, but it's still worth noting.
