Hey all--working on an iMac G4 and I'm trying to partition my HD in order to install Sorbet Leopard via MacintoshGarden's instructions (https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/sorbet-leopard). Only thing is, I can't get the disk to partition. I get the "Partition Failed with the error: Filesystem resize support required, such as HFS+ with Journaling enabled" error.
Although I got the G4 used, it seems to have been wiped and used very little before I acquired it, and I haven't done any modifications myself so I can't imagine what would cause something as basic as partitioning to malfunction.

Can anybody offer some tips?
Thanks! ;-)

I don't remember the specific steps. but it sounds like its trying to resize partitions and its failing.

...

can you start over ? Delete all partitions, and then create new ones. and in that way. don't resize partitions ?

but i never tried to install Sorbet. So i might be completely off base here....

keep editing..... like wonder if its possible to wipe the drive. perhaps zero it out. and then start over.
