Ram Charger alternative for 8.6?

Lowend Mac recommends Ram Charger as a memory manager because it increases your total available ram and prevents memory conflicts, but as I look into the software I discover that it reportedly doesn't work with 8.5+

Does anyone know of another program that can be used for 8.5 and 8.6?

Have you tried Ram Doubler 8 by Connectix?
