retro mac sighting

So apple had their event. New phone, watch. blah blah blah.
thats not exciting.

what is exciting is the Mac SE/30 they had in the background for the iphone pro segment.

it MIGHT be a SE. its pretty blurry too me. but it still looks like the se/30 front.

It's a 30... The character line where the floppy drive extends to the sides of the bezel, like the same character line on a IIci.

Ha, that is amazing. I never noticed that difference between SEs and SE/30s despite using an SE/30 daily for years. Thanks for pointing this out. So obvious now that you mention it…

It was quite recent, maybe last year? One of the cutaway videos had an engineer in front of a bookcase that had a MacEffects case on a shelf behind him as I recall …

More likely that it was an original clear case prototype. I'm pretty sure it's a known thing that Apple still has one of those that they keep on display...somewhere?
