I may be 71 but my se/30 reloaded first boot had me jumping and screaming with joy all over the place.
Last february, Grumpyengineer89 sold me an SE/30 reloaded board.
After painstakingly desoldering components from my 2 bombed boards and lovingly repopulating the reloaded board with all the new components I could source, it's now reloaded and ALIVE.
First boot two days ago was unsuccessful (nothing happened). Then I noticed that the PALs weren't placed in the right order (they were socketed, so right relocation was a breeze). Yesterday I got a death chime and horizontal stripes. And tonight I finally rechecked continuity on UH7 (which had been a real pain in the neck to solder) where I found 3 pins that still didn't make contact.
Thank you so much to this community who made it possible. These resources are unvaluable. Also big thumbs up to Grumpyengineer89 who sent me the board all across the pond.
