Goal - have the ability to share files from my ethernet enabled macs to my non-ethernet enabled macs.

I have a ton of LocalTalk PhoneNet adapters and I figured I should put them to good use.

There is an unofficial Apple LocalTalk Bridge control panel that allows you to bridge a LocalTalk network to an ethernet network.

Getting it working was pretty easy, though I made some assumptions that were incorrect so lets get started!

The network looks like this:

Apple Air Port Extreme is my ethernet router - it is connected to my 9600 (8.6) and iMac G4 (9.2)
My 9600 is connected to LocalTalk via the Printer Port with a PhoneNet adapter.
In the 9600's AppleTalk control panel is set to Printer Port. It also has the LocalTalk Bridge control panel.
There is also a RaSCSI running AFP on this network.

The Mac Plus and Color Classic are daisy chained to the 9600 via PhoneNet adapters. Both on the Printer Port (seems to be the default)

With this setup I can mount the Plus's drive on my iMac G4 or vice versa and move files around easily albeit slowly.
