I'm addicted to the SE/30 and am unsure what to do with my IIGS and IIci.
I've had an Apple IIe from 1986 to 1996. Over the years, besides the Apple color monitor, Duo Disk drive, and ImageWriter II printer, I've added stuff to it, such as a 1 MB card, Applied Engineering Transwarp card, Apple mouse card, a SCSI card, and an external Sider hard drive. I have used various Apple products and computers since 1986.
In high school, I was privileged to use a Macintosh PowerBook 145B for all my school-related stuff at school and home. Then, I had a Macintosh PowerBook 520c. That did well for me during my college years.
Now I have an Apple IIGS, Macintosh IIci, and Macintosh SE/30. To me, those three are the best Apple has made that are over thirty years old in the mid to late 1980s and early 1990s. I love the exquisite Snow White design of those Apple computers!
I also have a bunch of other stuff.
Aside from Apple, I enjoy playing board games and vintage computer games on Apple IIGS and 030 Macs, such as side-scrolling, adventure, FPS, and strategy/problem-solving/puzzle games. I love Star Trek, Star Wars, and Marvel Cinema. I have various books on Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. I have a book written by Hartmut Esslinger, the head designer for Apple, including the Snow White design language, which I purchased from a bookstore in Germany.
It is captivating how the counter-culture, especially Jobs and Wozniak and their original associates in the Jobs garage, changed the computer landscape and culture in the seventies, eighties, and nineties. Please contact me if you have first-hand experiences and stories related to Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, or experiences dealing with Apple back in the seventies or eighties. I love hearing those stories. Thank you.
