My mid-2015 15" MBP Retina is now considered a very low end Mac, but it's still my daily driver. My left speaker has been bad for about a year, and recently I had enough and decided to swap it out. I replaced the other speaker too since you have to teardown the whole machine to replace speakers. I made a video of my experience below. Hope it helps some of you who have the same problem. I still love this MBP! The keyboard offers more key travel than Apple's latest M1 MacBooks, and I love having USB-A ports and the glowing Apple logo on back.
