Hi,
Quite happy to have discovered this Temperature display and Fan controller thanks to ActionRetro on his Youtube channel.
For $20, you have a device with 3 temperature probes, displaying the T and you can manually adjust the fan Speed with 3 settings (6, 9 and 12V). You can also set up Alarm T and the speed is adjusting (not tried this one yet).
I spent quite sometime with my Quicksilver, measuring the T of the CPU heatsink, Video card ans exhaust air to select the best combination Fan, Noise, Efficiency with the BBQ thermometer, supposed to check the meat T![Er... what? o_O o_O](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Would have been easier with this one.
I am going to use it to measure the difference between the old fan of the Quadra 950 and 2 new Noctua that I have bought to reduce the noise.
Here is the link if you are interested.
