Hi there Tinkerers, thought i'd share something i worked on for a while.

Since i started servicing classic mac's, and especially colour classic machines, I've always been annoyed that it is so hard to measure anything in-situ, while powered on.

So when i got a LC575 in with plastics that had the integrity of biscuits, snapping when you think of touching it, and a motherboard nuked with battery acid I thought, this could well become a test stand.

I still had 2 aluminium extrusion "legs" and i decided to design and 3D print all the needed pieces to mount the CRT, analog board and motherboard.

The result is a test rack allowing me to measure while running the computer both the analog and motherboard are accessible for measurements, saving me time in repairs.

if anyone wants the 3D files, just say the word and ill upload them

These days I have practically zero interest in the color classics - but jigs like these are so cool! Kudos, it looks great
