Since I have quite a lot of vintage hardware to clean up, recap, etc... I'm considering getting an ultrasonic cleaner.
I did use a small jewellery version to clean up small parts/boards, and it mostly worked, but I know need to go to a bigger version, as I have some motherboards to clean. Hence my questions :
- is there any particular model / size that you've been using ?
- which chemicals do you use ?
So far, I played with distilled water and / or some IPA, but honestly, I don't think this is what I should keep on doing, so any experience is welcome !
