Was wondering if RPi or the like could push USB3 in and out of the rudimentary IDE interface of this series. DuckGo'd for available hardware and found this one that might be ready to roll?
No Driver needed, USB Thumb drive might plug right into cable connector? Similar product supports OS9. Probably too good to be true, likely only uses USB3 cable to computer and won't support drive Thumb Drive <-> IDE.
If that's the case, it's back to Pi, Arduino or the like doing the direct Thumb Drive <-> IDE conversion. Thoughts on that possibility?
Thinking such might be make for transfers than SD or CF converter to IDE? If not and inexpensive converters already swamp the IDE bus, disregard this one.
