VCF East Swap Meet-Photos

I got there early, and it's a good thing I did. It was FAR too hot and humid, I'm getting up there in years and this type of weather doesn't do me any good. I picked up this nice Sangean radio for $20. It seems I pick up radios more than anything else at VCF; the last one I got was a weather radio.

I really think the swap meet needs to be held in late May/early June. The weather was brutal. I bailed around 11 AM. Thank GOODNESS my Ford Taurus has a decent AC!!! Here's a video that Steve (Mac84) shot of last year's event. I make a brief appearance later in the video; I had given him some beige Macs. There's a part where Steve is sitting on the ground, looking through a box of software. Given how hot this past VCF swap meet was, I guarantee Steve would have burned his ass if he tried that same move!!!!! The heat was AWFUL.

The heat didn’t bother me much. If they had held it earlier, I wouldn’t have been able to attend due to school obligations regardless, so I’m very glad they hold one of these meets during the summer.
