Yet another battery bombed SE/30

I'm gutted. Ad said working order but when I got there it was dead.... The seller said, "It worked last time I started it, 7 years ago". Lol.

So I made a bid for equivalent of USD50, thinking I could either fix it or have some spares. But it is heartbreaking to see... I took out the processor and the socketed chip, processor seems fine but the chip is missing actual pins Anyone selling a motherboard?

Looks familiar...

One of the machines I received in my 2012 haul. It would power on, but just show a checkerboard screen. Wound up taking another SE/30's board and swapping it in, since the machine that this board was in had a nicer bezel, etc.

It is kind of out of my comfort zone, equipment and skill wise. But who knows... At least I will probably work on this board as a practice project until I find a working replacement.
