Please note that there were no board meetings in June or July due to a lot of scheduling conflicts.

August 26, 2023 Board Meeting​

Attendance:​

Bruce (Branchus), Josh (Drake)

Agenda:​

Item 1:​

Funds Remaining, and Donation Banner

Notes:

• About 5 months of operational funds are available in the account

Action Items:

• Eric: Create a banner or link on the main page to the ko.fi donation portal
  • Done, it's above the Discord integration on the top right of main page

Item 2:​

Calendar Competition

Notes:

• The competition is now closed

Action Items:

• The board will select winners from the submissions

Item 3:​

Merch Store

Notes:

• This item has bounced around for awhile, would like to get some traction

Action Items:

• Ron will work on this

Item 4:​

Moderator Staff Increase

Notes:

• As the forum and discord has grown, we are finding that more moderators are becoming necessary

Action Items:

• Board members working to choose community members to invite as moderators

Item 5:​

Preparations for new Board next year

Notes:

• We need a good set of policies and procedures for the transition of an old Board to the newly elected Board
• Certain positions do not change often, such as Christian and Eric's roles

Action Items:

• Justin to work on these policies and procedures

Item 6:​

Officially teasing Ron on discord

Notes:

• It has been noted that on discord, the '#self-promotion` channel has a lot of content from Ron

Action Items:

• Rename the channel to '#ron' for a little while, to give him a few minutes of wild discord fame
