I've been working on an open source version of Apple's 820-0605-A VRAM modules. The project is available on GitHub, including the Gerbers, Schematics, datasheets, and more but I will provide more details below.
The goal of the project is to make VRAM available to anyone who would like to make batches for personal use. To clarify, the license for this project restricts commercial sale without permission.

The VRAM Module uses 4 "M5M442256AJ-10" chips. There is potential to use faster chips (e.g., 70ns versus the current 100ns) or entirely different chips. Maybe larger?
