I was looking for some example of a suitable bag for my 145B and I couldn’t find anything…
Anyone knows how were the bags for these models?

@pfuentes69, have you seen the original bags by Apple for PowerBooks? They look good. However, they do not seem as well padded as the compact Mac bags by Apple or West Ridge.

Let me look quickly and see what I can find for you.

Plenty of those on eBay that vary. A couple I see:

See how minimal padding there is? It makes me nervous.

@KingDingus, I agree with you on new and better sturdy bags that are custom for all vintage computers including compact Macs, PowerBooks, and even the small case Macs like the IIci or LC.

Also, it would be helpful for the Apple II series.

It’s more for completing the laptop with its bag than using it on the field…

I got ya! :)(y) Yeah, bags were designed and produced for Apple PowerBooks back in the day. 👜🎒

I suspect some of the "Apple" bags were by a company other than Apple. For example, Apple marketed and had those bags specifically made for the Macintosh Portable. 🧳

My Duo System bag/briefcase was a Tenba camera bag, still have it, can't beat it. But prices have kept up with inflation, they don't appear to have cheapened their products, I guess that goes with a lifetime warranty?

The bag I use for my traveling NetBook these days was a Goodwill find with a great sleeve inside. It expands to hold plenty of stuff on a trip.

Here's a photo of a (kinda worn) Apple-branded Targus bag, which looks a lot like the multi-colored one shown above:

Lots of storage, good padding, fits PB's like a glove.

A note on the thinly-padded grey bags that are being shared in this thread - those are IIc bags, and are far too big for 1xx series PB's. And, as observed, not very well padded. They're fine for IIc's but not for PB's.
