Gloriously handmade fabric sleeve for Compact Macs

I've been waiting for the shipping to be reasonable from the EU to purchase one of these for my SE/30. Last night I discovered not only is the shipping bearable, but there's now a black fabric model as well.

It's spendy but worth putting on the machine I actually use.

I have two compact macs that I would love to have something like this for. My mom loves to sew, is deep into retirement and I think kinda bored lol ... hmm maybe I will show her this thread and see if she is up to making one for me state side in a cool color for a birthday or Christmas.

Lol — same! She said it wasn’t too hard a design. It turned out great, though she felt the light canvas fabric she found was too wrinkly. I didn’t want to trouble her for a second one. It’ll still go on one of my compact Macs!

it’s definitely doable, and she loved making it. She did not obviously make that patch… I wasn’t going to ask for that hand embroidery.
