Hello cyberpals, I've been developing an IRC client on and for my Macintosh Plus called Wallops:

It is being developed on System 6 but should work on newer MacOS versions as well. It requires MacTCP.

I was previously using MacPPP with a variety of ESP8266->RS422 modem emulators, but now I'm using a DaynaPORT SCSI/Link-3 ethernet device.

I've been using MacIRC but running into a 1 megabyte memory limit. I tried Wallops and I love the look, but unfortunately it just keeps crashing on me. I can connect (I'm using chat.macintoshgarden.org to bridge to Discord and Facebook Messenger) but if I try to do anything I get error type 2.
