Ok so I can leave them off without issue. I am still wondering about the rest of the pins. I only have pins 1, 2, and 3 connected on U2. Is that all the connections on that chip?

I also bid on that eBay auction, for the exact same reason, to get that riser. I was hoping to make a schematic of the board to clone it. Nice to know that there isn't any logic. If you could take some very high resolution photos of the riser it would be very helpful.

I really enjoyed your video. I am currently gathering the components to also do the 84v mod. I wonder if a ROM hack would be able to give the option for the different resolutions.

So when I got my CC the seller also had an untested CC2 motherboard. So I have both. I want to get it running with the known good board before I start messing with the untested board. I am looking for an LC575 board but that is more of a down the road acquisition.

Did you ever get the card up and running?

Well that part did not have all 96 pins populated. I did find this on Digikey and it seems to be close. Does anyone have any experience with these?
