This makes sense to me. The board was purchased off ebay for use in one of the (many) color classics Craig and i are restoring so we dont have the full history. I could see someone starting a takky mod and then stopping without completing it.

Well I got the analog board working again. A color classic logic board works fine although a bit distorted with the voltage change. A 575 board on the other hand just gives the standard bus error when you try it on a unmodified analog board. So not sure what that brown bodge is meant to do...

Wondered about that; seems like programmers are very hit and miss for how well they work based on the research I've done previously though the T48 claims that this chip is compatible to be programmed. May I ask how much the Dataman 48Pro+ was? A quick google is suggesting between 800 and 1200...
