Apple 15 inch Studio Display (M4551) missing a power supply

I ended up ordering a replacement off amazon that used adapters to connect to the monitor. This is the unit according to my order history https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01CYZQR46?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_37 iirc it came with the necessary adapters so it was just a single...

Identifying this color classic analog mod (640x480 without cutting sense line?)

This makes sense to me. The board was purchased off ebay for use in one of the (many) color classics Craig and i are restoring so we dont have the full history. I could see someone starting a takky mod and then stopping without completing it.

Identifying this color classic analog mod (640x480 without cutting sense line?)

LOL but that's the part I can't figure out! ;) Oh btw J19 was cut in half on the top of the board so the brown wire only attaches at one half and isn't connected to the other half. When we received this board it had this bodge on it along with the voltage change so you would think it would...

Identifying this color classic analog mod (640x480 without cutting sense line?)

So to clarify im aware the voltage change isn't needed for the color classic board. I was just testing the board as it was after recapping it to see if i would get video. Given this weird unidentified brown bodge wire. I tested first with a color classic board then again with a 575...

Identifying this color classic analog mod (640x480 without cutting sense line?)

Well I got the analog board working again. A color classic logic board works fine although a bit distorted with the voltage change. A 575 board on the other hand just gives the standard bus error when you try it on a unmodified analog board. So not sure what that brown bodge is meant to do...

Identifying this color classic analog mod (640x480 without cutting sense line?)

Hey Folks, Craig and I found one analog board in our Color Classic lot that we think is modded for 640x480 but in a weird way. Instead of modding the sense lines they removed Jumper 19 from the top of the board and added a bodge wire from one point on j19 to capacitor cp44 on a rev D analog...

Looking for a UH7 and UB10 replacement for Mac SE30

Finally have some free time again and figured out what was happening! Turns out that when I was trying to program the ATF16V8BQL there was an option to Encrypt that was checked on. When I read about the purpose of this check box it came back as So yeah soon as I found that out I turned the...

The great LCD in a Color Classic thread. Well, I wish...

Honestly I have three color classics (CC1, CC2, and a Performa 275) so I am more than happy to leave two of them "pure" with CRTs and analog boards and then upgrade my mystic with this kit. I feel like I'll get more use out of my mystic if I'm not worrying about all the super hot components on...

Looking for a UH7 and UB10 replacement for Mac SE30

Wondered about that; seems like programmers are very hit and miss for how well they work based on the research I've done previously though the T48 claims that this chip is compatible to be programmed. May I ask how much the Dataman 48Pro+ was? A quick google is suggesting between 800 and 1200...

Looking for a UH7 and UB10 replacement for Mac SE30

Could do for now, would still want replacements longer term but this would let me get the board sound sorted at least.

Looking for a UH7 and UB10 replacement for Mac SE30

One like this? https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/Microchip-Technology/ATF16V8CZ-15JU?qs=sGAEpiMZZMutXGli8Ay4kLDnkZBmoUQEbP9Clm%252BdMSM%3D Assuming this is also compatible with an XGecu T48 programmer.

Looking for a UH7 and UB10 replacement for Mac SE30

Hey Folks, I've been reloading some more SE30 boards and have finally come across a board with some bad chips. I'm on the hunt for a UH7 replacement and found the files to program a replacment using a GAL16V8. Just wondering if anyone has tried programming with this chip from digikey...
