I'm not into Apple ][ machines, but what I see on the inside photo is a very clean and corrosion-free locig board and PSU. That is a good sign in getting this machine back to working condition.

If you watched the photo of the logic board closely, you see that this board has also a lot 16V 47uF black tantalum caps. These don't leak over time. Apple used different kind of caps for the IIfx for the 16V 47uF, including black and yellow tantalum caps. My IIfx has the yellow tantalum caps.

Nothing is missing. That black core inside the plastic tube is the adjustment. Just use a 2.5 millimeter hexagon wrench made of plastic (an iron one gets hot).

This problem is already solved. What I did not mentioned was that I used a USB extender, because of the way the two BlueSCSIs are mounted (see photo). To make the BlueSCSI UW better reacheble, I added an extender, but since I left it out, the log file does not show the errors: Platform...

Here is the Jackhammer manual. The SCSI Manager 4.3 is yet downloaded and put in the system folder (and on more macs too). I start up with it and watch later if I see changes in the log file or notice improvements.

Recently I bought a FWB Jackhammer for my IIfx. It works (at the moment only with the external port), but besides quicker scores in Norton System Info, I don’t mention very much improvement in the startup. Are there any ini-settings to improve the speed?

Does this mean that v1.3.6 (available on Macintosh Garden) does not have complete HD20 support?

Update on testing on a 512k: I do not get it working. I installed Systsm 4.0 on the HD20 and on a 400k floppy together with the "Hard Disk 20" INIT. I would like like to use System 4.1, but that is to big for a 400k floppy. Both the HD20 and the floppy need to be the same system version...

That is strange. I have an SE/30, a CC and a CCII where the BlueSCSI runs perfectly with a SD extension cable. The SE/30 with a short one and the CC's with a longer one.
