Trouble with Uthernet card in Apple II

Hi everyone. A few years back, I purchased the original Uthernet card for my Apple II. The only problem is, my Apple II won't boot with the card installed. Wondering if anyone can help out? I'm fairly certain the card is installed with the correct orientation. Does anyone test/repair these...

Macintosh Portable & Powerbook 100 power adapter bench

Hey @JDW , remember my 5126 backlight flickering issue, whenever there was disk activity or floppy activity, my backlight would start flickering. Upon closer inspection, I realized that the power supply I was using is only ranked at 1.0Amp, not 1.5Amp, as suggested. I wonder if the 1.0 Amp PS...

    Power Macintosh 475

Hurray! Good news, we have extra sockets here! I ordered like 14 of them!

Ok, so you can take a very thin blade flathead screwdriver, and you can gently slide it between the card and the black retainer. Then, you can pry the entire set of pins little by little. The entire socket of pins will then be removeable.

That entire set of pins passes through the 601 card, so as long as the pins are bent/broken on the bottom (where it plugs into the logic board) it’s actually really easy. You don’t fix/repair the pins, you just replace all of them.

Well you’re in luck!!! I got one of these, and it had bent/broken pins because of poor shipping. We sourced a bunch of 68040 sockets that fixes that problem!!

    COLOR CLASSIC LCD CONVERSION VIDEO!!

Hi @JDW !! Thanks for your kind words. With regards to dust, Keith would sometimes encounter dust particles after putting the screen together, and it’s difficult to deal with once assembled. Also, to your point about the ferrite, you can see it when we attach the speaker cable to the analog...
