If your metro has a million people, I'd recommend putting feelers out on the local subreddit and Craigslist. That's how I scraped enough people together to start Albuquerque Retro Computers.

Not only does The Net have Macs, it has clones and possibly the best footage of the MacWorld floor from that year.

For what it's worth, my Tsunami 9600 always needed a "running start" no matter what media I used. Had to Power On > Chime > Power Off > Power On again and it would come up correctly.

I don't see why not. All of the basic hardware requirements are present on the card, unless there's some low-level things that are absent.

I've tried a few more times since my last post. Each hanging around the same time towards the end of install. I'll try another 95 disk in the next week.

Come to think of it, I have not. Worried about that little plastic clip, but I'll try that now.

Unfortunately, it's still randomly hanging after updating to 2.1.7.

It's the Apple manufactured one, and I have not. I'll give that a try.
