Finally added an eMac to my collection... time to model and build miniatures at 48 (not printed yet) and 22 percent (photo side by side). Old speakers from an old 2006-2008 iMac will work great for the 48 percent size. Experimenting with speaker grille hole sizes.

You may have to disassemble those original DVD drives and lubricate/revive the rubber roller. Or abandon them and install a slimline slot load from an old iMac. See this thread.

Yes. You may have to make some adapters to align the mount holes. I have mounted a SATA slot load thin drive from an aluminum iMac into my cube with a SATA to IDE adapter. if you have a 3D printer, see attachment for slimline/laptop style slot load drive.

Here is a detailed log of someone's LCS 1 (single pump) repair. I know there are at least 3 different versions of the LCS. Some single pump, some dual.

The link I provided is a DMG, as well as this one... but if you have PowerISO, it can burn a mac DMG file on Windows. It does not need to be a CD, it could be a DVD, but it needs to be a format the that internal drive can read. Not all drives can read all media types.
