Identifying and confirming fake 68040 CPUs (especially the L88M mask)

Always an idea to look for a K63H - just as good as the L88M - you tend to find most of those at least are pulls, not NoS :)

Yes, it's quite simple really - it takes very little time to register for an account here. Trading here is a privilege, not a right. LC475 SAD MAC Chimes : (

The chip you've used should be fine - it's rated for 70ns, instead of the 80ns stuff on the board. You can use this chart to cross reference the chips: https://ardent-tool.com/memory/Chip_Conversion.html

WarpSE: 25 MHz 68HC000-based accelerator for Mac SE

Logic Board - Macintosh Classic Reloaded

Well the boards generally come to around £35 and come with almost all the rear side passives populated. Then you move over most of your parts. I do have a p&p and BOM for the board, i'll post those on GitHub soon. @MacEffects has the license for production, just a matter of when/if it goes on...

Logic Board - Macintosh Classic Reloaded

@MacEffects has the license, as with the Macintosh SE Reloaded, for board sales in the continental US - not sure of the timeline of production on their side though. If it's a while, i can do a small board run, with SMD pre-assembly done on the rear (barring the inductors)
