    VIC 20 Start up Screen

Looks like a custom rom, for sure. Probably just the name field changed, but I'd be interested in doing a diff between that and the stock rom.

Macintosh SE mounts floppy 3 times

The GLU was reverse engineered - the .jed can be downloaded and burned to any old GAL16V8 :) https://github.com/kr239/Macintosh-SE-Reloaded/tree/master/GLU Also, the functions can be replicated with discrete logic - i even made a mockup with VQFN parts that fits in the same footprint i wanted...

Macintosh SE mounts floppy 3 times

I sure do - here are all 4 pages, but page 1 is the one with the IWM/SWIM and GLU logic. Remember, the GLU is responsible for the switching between the two drives.

    Your Favorite Graphics Card

@z970 I loved my 9700 PRO - had that through my 1st year of Uni in 2004, and then i swapped it out, eventually, for a 6600 GT AGP, then a 7600GT PCIe card. However, my absolute favourite card, that just blew away all expectations, was my STB Velocity 4400 - the Riva TNT 16MB - it had a tiny...

    MAC SE/30 CRT problem

Ooof. That's a lot of damage, it might take a lot to patch that, especially the via damage by UJ3 - you might find it easier to migrate the parts to a new Bolle SE/30 board. The part that fell off is a 200ohm Resistor network, iirc used for pullups. The rom simm socket is, to my eye, too...

    Replacement Memory for Compact Mac?

@Zane Kaminski will sell you compatible ram, from Garrett's Workshop. Also, I've had 1mb module PCB's from github, that I assembled, that worked just fine.

    DEC Rainbow PC100

I love oddities like this! Cool floppy drive design for space saving...are both available to one cpu, or are they split one for the Z80, one for the 8088?

    A lightweight theme ?

Hmm, i had thought about this, but there may be some extra considerations. There is a 'light mode' that you can switch to, that may make things easier for you, but additional themes might entail some tweaking. @Branchus is the guru for these sorts of things!

Laptop battery rebuilding in the UK/ideas?

Hmm - can you take some pictures of the battery pack itself? You could take a punt on: http://www.power-supplier.co.uk/notebook-batteries/Latitude-X300.htm or https://www.good-batteries.co.uk/product.php/DELL+Latitude_X300_Series+battery

Breaking a Classic II One Step at a Time (Help!)

Yep, you have a short to ground. With the logic board disconnected, will the chassis power on?

Breaking a Classic II One Step at a Time (Help!)

Can you take a photo of the screen when you try? Clicking is usually PSU shorting and failing - might be a short to ground somewhere else.
