I have an earlier version of Photoshop that I MIGHT put on it, though I would use it mostly for viewing pics. The primary function of this machine will be to write fiction and poetry.

The Dell's battery holds a charge of 2 1/2 hours. I'll be keeping this unit at home, since it's too big and heavy to carry around. I have my 2012 MacBook Air for that.

The maximum is 8 gigs of RAM, aye? Cool. Looks like it's time to expand the RAM, as I know that Windows is a memory hog. Windows 7 Starter on my Asus netbook was rock solid. I assume this 64-bit Pro version will be too. :cool:

Something interesting happened...just for chuckles, I put back the original video card and tried once more with the ATX power supply to see what would happen. In the past, I'd hear the start-up bong, but no picture. This time around, the same thing happened as in the video-no bong or picture...

It didn't work. 😞 Watch the video.

Top photo: old video card (top), replacement video card (bottom). I just installed it in the lower left photo. Now to install the power supply and everything else, then test the MDD with a boot-up.

Today's my day off, so I've started the double-transplant (power supply & video card) now. I'll let you folks know how everything goes.

When I find time, I'll check it out. Video making will be more of an occasional thing for me, as i want to focus in writing, drawing and photography.
