Has been there's no difference between this and final units and the $3000 is way too steep for a diagnostic tool. If you really want one you can wait until max and I are done recreating this new one or I might have an extra I can sell you.
I think it’ll be a great little machine but I really want to find someone to fill in the breaks with epoxy or resin (not worried about surface texture) so I can paint match and at least keep it somewhat original.
It should but I think when we tried using the .img or renaming it to a .hda the scsi2sd, stock scsi hdds, and BlueScsi all ddint like it. I was told it’s because this was a PPC build and I think @Johnnya101 found the actual install so maybe it works on 68k now? I haven’t tried it yet but will...
It was renamed the same. To be completely honest the 1mb board with the 1mb ROM should work for all ROM images, if you aren't comfortable with that board.
