    IIci logic board issue

Hey guys, I recently acquired a IIci that just gives me a gray screen upon boot. I've got 12V and 5V at the HD power connector, so I'm assuming the PS is good. The board has some corrosion in the expected places near the surface caps, and C10, C13, and the IC at UD13 basically fell off with a...

    Macintosh IIsi Success Story

Nice restoration! I recently restored one and had a break in the 12V rail as well. As you probably already know, it's fairly simple to increase the speed to 25 MHz by swapping out a 50 MHz oscillator.

    IIsi Blinky-Light Mod!

Love me some blinky HD activity lights! I'm sure someone else has already done this mod, but the IIsi has an extra lead on the speaker / power LED leads that's for SCSI activity. So I just ran a wire from the extra lead to the green wire lead of the LED power light. That way I've still got...

    Emulation List

Virtual ][ is the best Apple II emulator out there for modern Macs. Sweet16 is my favorite Apple IIgs emulator for the Mac, but I don't think it runs on M1 machines.
