My guess is a chip is connected but maybe a pin is not fully attached. Have any photos?

This is Common on Color Classics it’s the internal speaker causing this issue. Happens on my color classic ii as well.

They usually vacuum seal foam around their stuff, I believe they use DHL.

So I have a iivi and it’s been recapped, I know the power supply is perfect and there’s no corrosion. However when it boots the fan spins the, led comes on, but after that nothing else just stays on with the fan running, any ideas?

Oh I see so all on board RAM has to match, I removed this added chip and it boots just fine with 7 of the 8 RAM chips so that's cool, obviously some applications are now drastically slower such as startup and restart/power off.

No signs of life and missing solder joints so patched all of that up did PRAM reset and nothing, then I removed all ram chips and one by one added them until I found one that had the sad mac chime, so I swapped in this chip KM44C1000CJ-7 in place of the original nec 424400-80, I hope it’s...
