The way i remember it, is you should be able to login via text mode console and edit it that way, if the X server doesn't run.

You can disable it in the xorg.conf file - there should be a line for HW Accel that you can comment out.

What driver are you using? @Action Retro had to disable hardware acceleration to get Rage 128 working in Linux using the r128 driver, iirc.

You're actually correct, unless you have one of those rare IIci machines that had the parity chip in it, parity is ignored. On the SE, the pins aren't even connected.

I'll need a 3D Printer first, but i'll buy some, just for the hell of it. Or to resell here from my tindie store.
