Very cool! Trimming pins on the insertion side would be a no-no. I've clamped the pins in a vise and tamped the plastic spacers down to length. Given the thickness of the printed case, trimming them on the solder side shouldn't be necessary. Again, fantastic work! ;) edit: thinking about it...
