I have no problem paying tax-but my understanding, wrongly-was that the full amount that I paid via Apple's site INCLUDED the tax. I did not realize that the amount of tax I paid depended on WHERE I picked up the M3. I thought the full transaction was taken care of via the web site.

Actually, I don't either. 🙃 Heck, I keep food and drink on a totally separate table opposite of the M3, as well as keeping my hands VERY clean. It's mostly going to be for dust. 😎
