Unfortunately, the hard lesson I've learned is: if you're too nice, people will walk all over you. I'm terribly sorry for those of you who were scammed. 😞
That's where the problem lies. With the old power supply, the right video connection works. With the new power supply, it doesn't. I hear the boot-up bong, but no picture. At first, I thought the card was messed up, but when I put the old PS back in, everything worked again.

The G4 MDD is hooked up to my 32-inch Panasonic Viera TV (2010). My 2010 Mac Mini is hooked up to it as well. Note the...

It's been a long...

I guess, for the time being, I'll have to put the old power supply back until I can figure out what to do. It still works, although occasionally, the computer won't boot-then I have to unplug the power cable and plug it back in-then it will boot.
phungus-no, it fit snugly. And yeah: the square/rounded corners should match. BTW, I'm not a tech guy-just an artist. But I'm not afraid to jump in there.
:)
Forgive my ignorance, as this is the first time I've tried doing this on a Mac. Are you saying the pictures below indicate the power supply is correctly connected to the adapter cable?
