The other thing to be aware of on these portables is the molex connector. YOU MUST make sure both B+ input connections are connected and have voltage or really bad things will happen.

Well first, adjust the G2 (screen) drive on the flyback and see if that brings it down to a reasonable brightness. If not, your missing the proper cathode voltages to keep the CRT from going into full saturation so theres likely a cause such as a bad solder joint, or open connection/resistor.

That was a fun trip. I don't think I will be able to make it to east again this coming year though. I am going to try and shoot for midwest. but we will see...
