Huh I just realized something cool with Pithos pandora front end for Linux. When you stream with a free Pandora account using Pithos, that account with ads becomes ad-free. I’ve been streaming for days non stop and have yet to hear a single ad.

I live too far away from all the vcf events to make attending workable (at least for now) so my vicarious living relies completely on everyone here posting their attendance pictures and videos :D

I’d start with what you might already have so there’s zero cost outside of your time - any spinners or ssds in an enclosure or prefab external hdd could be used up front. Use that to test your set up & access etc. & once you have it the way you want it, that might be good enough for your needs...
