Sony Trinitron - one of the GREATEST TV and monitor technologies in history 📺

I have a 13"(?) Trinitron I got as a HS graduation present to take to college. It was also the monitor for my Apple ][+. No remote, woodgrain, a line of physical buttons for each channel, with little plastic inserts to show the channel numbers. Still works! I use it on my NES among other things.

Sony Trinitron - one of the GREATEST TV and monitor technologies in history 📺

I have one of these. Got it as a "surprise" in a lot of stuff. Smells horribly of bad caps- I havent turned it on. I need to get after it, but I'm a little intimidated based on the videos I've seen.

    Weird SCSI-ID configuration

The trick on some drives is knowing which set of pins is 4, and which set is one. Thank $deity for old-age near-sightedness sometimes to try and read the markings!

    Portable keyboard Matrix?

Thanks for your note. The thing frustrated me so much I put it back on the shelf. This might get me to pull it out after VCFMW!

    NeXT and BlueSCSI question

OK - so during this I had the original spinning disk in the machine (SCSI ID 1) while the BlueSCSI had a higher address (tried both 6 and 2). The BlueSCSI was in an external enclosure. Once I disconnected the internal drive so the BlueSCSI was the only thing on the bus, then it came up...

    NeXT and BlueSCSI question

I'm trying to build an image for NeXT black hardware on BlueSCSI. Latest firmware. I've used both the NeXT tool to build disks as well as the image @Drake called out from Winworld that is said to work on BlueSCSI for NeXT. The image is seen by the NeXT as a drive, but in both cases its seen...

    Rocket Test

It's the Rocket 33Mhz. I upped the OS on the IIci to System 7, and re-installed the RocketShare software I have (1.3.1) Everything came up roses! Now to decide if I'm going to keep it or not... If there's any interest out there, let me know.

    Rocket Test

Sorry 32MB of RAM. :) I have Rocketshare software disks that came with the card. I put the Rocket in my IICi that is running System 6. It seems the software I have must be for System 7 since it put a few extensions in the System folder just sitting around and there are no control panels etc...

    Rocket Test

I see posts elsewhere that the Rocket will only work in a IIfx with less than 32GB of RAM, and only in 24 bit mode. Also, it seems that System 7.1 is the limit for the Rocket. I guess I'll haul out the IIci since I don't want to pull RAM from the IIfx.

    Rocket Test

If I had a Radius Rocket to test out before I decide to sell it, what would be the best combo of OS and machine? I have a IIfx, a Q700, and a IIci that I could use as a testbed.

    My late father's collection

I see a Bell & Howell Apple ][ hiding in there. Would be very interested if any of this ever comes up for sale. Lots of neat stuff there - what else might we see in the collection?

Mac SE Restoration Project -- advice wanted!

That would be sweet, but I can't find a reference anywhere, and don't want to just start buying random tips until I find something that works. I guess I could try to find the manufacturer of the one I have and see if they have any leads.
